Welcome Coach Theresa!
Our new Juniors and Fitness Coach this season is Theresa Zunich. Theresa has over 17 years of coaching experience, most recently with the Kamloops Classic Swim Club and previous to that in the province of New Brunswick. We are very pleased with the addition of Theresa to our coaching staff – be sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her on the deck!
KISU has a strong showing at Challenge Penticton
There were numerous KISU affiliated athletes who competed at the Challenge Penticton Triathlon races . . . both adults and children alike. We would like to extend our congratulations to all! Of note is, of course, overall winner Jeff Symonds. Jeff swam two seasons with KISU after returning to Penticton from University. Also, KISU Alumni Julia Veidt, who currently swims with Guelph University, was the fastest female out of the water in the swim portion of the race. GO KISU!
