Below you will find a link with the information concerning our volunteer point system for the 2013-2014 winter season.  Please read the entire attachment in addition to this email.

We’d like to thank those of you that shared your comments and feedback about the system.  We feel it is headed in the right direction and it is a means that will allow for the most equitable distribution of our work requirements.  We do not want to discourage our volunteers that go above and beyond; we are trying to encourage those that have not been actively participating.  

Our first meet of the season, Strong Kids, will be held on October 12-13 at RVCC.  Volunteer sign-ups will open on Friday, September 27 and close on Friday, October 4. 

If you do not sign up, SVY has the ability to go into the Team Unify system and assign you a job.   Once the final assignments are posted and sent, you will be responsible for finding your own replacement.  No shows will be fined as per our parent work commitment (please see attached). 

Please note :  Elizabeth Stoddard will schedule all Meet Managers & Colorado operators.  Once that schedule is finalized, it will be added to the on line system.

Please note that some of our jobs require experience.   Please DO NOT sign up for a job that requires experience unless you are qualified.  This will cause confusion and delays at the meet.  Final sign ups will be reviewed prior to posting and adjustments will be made if you do not have the required experience.  We will be offering training opportunities.

Be advised that the Gate, Security, Concessions/Hospitality and floaters may be asked to relieve timers throughout the session.  Please keep this in mind when choosing your positions.

Each job is assigned a point value depending on the job and session.  The report times are known for sessions 1 & 3.  The start times for the remaining sessions will be determined at a later date. 





1. Go to website (

2. Click "Sign In" on the left side of the page. (You will then be asked for your email and password, which you will type in.)

3. Go to the bottom of the Home page under Events/Upcoming Meets. Scroll down to find the meet for which you would like to work and click  "JOB SIGN UP ".

4. Follow the following directions:

Step 1: Find the empty slots shown as "---------".

Step 2: Click on the checkbox in front of the empty slot that you want to sign up for.

Step 3: Select [Signup] button to sign up for the slots that you selected.  Once you click sign up a pop up window will appear.  PLEASE TYPE IN YOUR SWIMMER'S NAME!!!  This is VERY important to avoid being double assigned.


If your Account name is printed right after the checkbox, you've signed up for that job. You can use the "Remove Signup" button to remove the signup if you no longer want to work that job.

If someone else's name is printed, that job slot is not available for you to sign up (this is a first-come-first-served system). You can only sign up for the empty slots shown as "---------".
