Three RAC Swimmers Ranked in the Top 15 in the U.S.

AJ Bornstein and Marcie Maguire have been recognized in the 2012-2013  USA Swimming National Top 10 Recognition Program. This is a national awards program recognizing the Country’s top 10 ranked swimmers in each event by age based on their fastest times in season.

Bornstein finished the 2012- 2013 Short Course Season ranked 2nd  in the 200 Breaststroke, 4th in the 100 Breaststroke , 6th in the 50 Breaststroke,  4th in the 400 Individual Medley, 9th in the 200 Butterfly and 9th in the 200 Individual Medley for 12 Year Old Boys.  In the 2013 Long Course Season AJ finished 4th in the 200 Breaststroke and 13th in the 100 Breaststroke for 13 year old boys.

Maguire finished the 2012-2013 Short Course season ranked 5th in the 200 Backstroke, 7th in the 100 Backstroke and 15th in the 200 freestyle for 13 year old girls. In the 2013 Long Course Season Marcie finished 9th in the 100 Backstroke.

Lindsey Gordon finished the 2013 Long Course Season in the top 20 with a 12th place ranking in the 100 Breaststroke for 13 year old girls.

According to RAC Head Coach Bob Shearer, “It  is a tremendous honor to be ranked as one of the top 15 swimmers in the country.  It is a true testament to the talent and work ethic of these three fine swimmers.  RAC is very proud of their achievements and I look forward to what they can accomplish in the future.”
