Congratulations to all the swimmers that competed in the first meet of the season! SCAT hosted approximately 1500 swimmers in the Fall Invite at GA Tech! The weekend was long but our kids swam great!

Alyson Phinney (11-12 Girls)– 100 Free

Coach Jamey was especially impressed with his Senior group for swimming that well this early in the season. “We typically don’t see so many best times this early in the season. Considering we were out of the pool the week before the meet, they still swam really well.”
We would like to congratulate all the swimmers that participated in the meet, especially our first time swimmers. In a meet with 1500 swimmers, two pools, and 20 lanes, just making it to your race on time can be accomplishment! "I saw the kids work together to help each other know when and where to be at the right time" and still have some fun and laughs on the deck. I saw teammates cheering for each other and new friendships forming."
We would also like to thank the parents, Estalla Davidson, Sarah Phinney, Bo Hatch, Heather Stroud, Tim & Staci Watson, Kelly Lewis, Kazuko Lillie, & Stephanie How that volunteered their afternoon as "timers”. We had other parents on deck to help our newer team members, Rosemary Rausch & Amy Lindley. Special thanks to Jeff Bond and Jeff Palmer for assisting on deck as videographers and results. Tanya Klekot, Jim Schmid, Jim Lewis, Nancy Harmon and Greg Ward deserve special recognition as USA Swimming officials. Without all of your support, we could never run such an amazing meet!
Please see the attached file to view our New Team Record Holders, Whopper Droppers, and 100 % Best Time swimmers!
Our Whopper Droppers are recognized as the swimmer that dropped the MOST amount of time in each DISTANCE. 100% Best times are achieved by swimming a best time in all the events swum at the meet.
Congratulations to all!
