JOs and Senior Champs are this weekend and it is important that you all taking care of yourselves.  Eat healthy, stay hydrated, and please get an adequate amount of sleep each day.  With all of your swims this weekend, you need to be aggressive right at the very beginning.  Going into your races, you should all have a goal and be determined to achieve whatever it is that you set your minds to.  In order to do that, you must swim aggressively.  Remember, there are trials and finals at these meets.  You have to swim fast and motivated in the morning to be able to swim in the evening.  We have had many weeks of preparation and now it is time to perform.

Don't forget that we have our 3rd annual ice skating trip on December 11th! We hope to see you all there!

Swimmers should know which meets and days that they are attending.  The team store will be open on Monday for any swimmers who need to purchase SCSC caps for the meet.

We will have a brief meeting on Monday to talk about the meets at the beginning of practice.

Saturday 12/9: No Practice new!


Due to meets this weekend, there will be no Saturday  morning practice on 12/9.  Just a gentle reminder: your mental focus and level of effort at practice are key determinants for your success as a swimmer.  Enjoy your weekend; and get ready for our championship meet December 14-15!  If you do not have an SCSC swim cap, please plan to purchase one at the team store well in advance of our meet!

Get ready for a great week before JO's. Please arrive for warm-ups at 7:30 am each morning. Relay only swimmers be at finals by 5 pm each night. You've all worked hard for this meet so have fun and swim fast!!!

The weather looks like it will change to be much colder in the next few days so wear warmer clothing and shoes!!!

Last week marked the first week of "Back to Basics", where as a group we began to look at the next part of our season. A strong emphasis on kicking and drill work can be expected in the next couple of weeks, as we prepare to make adjustments and refinements to our strokes.
