On February 22nd, the Hollyburn Hurricanes Swim Team will hold our second annual Social Evening and Fund Raiser.
This is the single major fundraising event for the team, during
the season. It is our opportunity to raise funds to support the
team. These funds will help provide additional equipment, coaching
and programming for the swimmers, above what they would normally
receive.In the past we have funded important projects such as the
new timing clock, additional equipment, and rental of a 50 metre
pool for long course training.
The evening starts at 7:00 pm.
The swimmers will have their own social event in the pool,
followed by activities and food in the Club Lounge.
The parents social will feature a no-host bar, and appetizers and snack foods. The key to our fund raiser will be a silent auction. We have already identified some terrific silent auction items, but will be reaching out to parents to provide some additional items.
Both social events will be over by 9 pm.

There is no charge for the swimmers.
Last year, the Spring Social and Fund Raiser was very well attended, and was a lot of fun (for both the adults and the swimmers).
