DCST Skins the Oswego Otters

DCST moved to 3 – 0 on the season with a 427 – 260 win over visiting Oswego. As a team, DCST had 77 lifetime best swims on Tuesday (out of a total of 220 swims or 35%).
After each meet, the coaching staff picks two swimmers, one girl and one boy, as the “Big Dogs" of the meet. Big Dogs are not only selected on their performance in the meet, but the coaches also take into consideration the swimmer’s practice attendance, work ethic, team spirit and sportsmanship. For this meet, Chloe Wester, age 7, and Tyler Hull, age 9, were selected as Big Dogs of the meet.
DCST had 22 swimmers who had at least 2 lifetime best performances in their individual events. These swimmers were as follows: Ty Ament, Melissa Cherry, Marc Dubrick, Alyssa Ferrigan, Tyler Hull, Brianna Jacobson, Kyra Lindgren, Riley Lohse, Meagan Maish, Cole Moon, Collin Moon, Dylan Powers, Lucy Prais-Lewis, Bradley Ruetten, Garret Sims, Patrik Smith, Libby Swedberg, Andrew Tatum, Chad Thompson, Chloe Wester, Athena Ye, and Allison Yohanan.
DCST will be competing at Sterling in a USS Meet this weekend. DCST’s next dual meet is on Tuesday, June 30 at Cary.
