Great Racing at SCS All-Star Festival!
Three FAST swimmers raced in the 2014 SCS All-Star Festival yesterday.  Makena Ditsworth and Leah Johnson represented the Yellow team and Courtney Tseng represented the Red team.  Coach Lauren Yee led the Yellow team to a third place team finish.  Complete results can be viewed here.

The Red team finished first in the overall team standings with help from Courtney's strong anchor legs in both the 400 Free Relay and 400 Medley Relay.  Her identical splits of 54.25 earned her team 1st place in the 13-14 Girls 400 Freestyle Relay and 2nd place in the 13-14 Girls 200 Medley Relay.
Leah Johnson took 7th in the 200 Free, 3rd in the 500 Free, 10th in the 100 Breast, and contributed to two of the Yellow team's B relays.  She posted a best time of 59.47 in the 100 Freestyle taking out the heat in the 500 Freestyle and leading for much of the race.  Her split of 28.30 on the 200 Freestyle Relay was also a personal best time.

Makena Ditsworth dropped 1.5 seconds in the 200 Freestyle posting a lifetime best 2:01.58 and finishing in 3rd place overall.  She won the 500 Freestyle with a second-best 5:17.92.  She also took 6th place in the 100 Butterfly and raced on two of the Yellow team's B relays.

Great racing, ladies!
