Good morning Panthers (AKA Splash Champions),
Before we get carried away congratulating ourselves for our well deserved win this past weekend, we need to take a moment to thank all of the people working behind the scenes and on the front lines for making this such a successful weekend. With out you we don’t make a “Splash”. So thank you, thank you and thank you some more.
Ok, now let’s get carried away (just kidding). Well done swimmers, another great showing here in our home pool. Two home meets, two wins…as coaches we cannot ask for much more! PB swims were happening with every race and in every age group. Your coaches could not be more proud of you all. Take a moment today and congratulate yourselves. While you do that, your coaches are busy putting together the events for the upcoming BISAC Championships at NIST in two weeks. Last night an email invitation was sent out to each swimmer selected for the team. There will be a more detailed message tomorrow regarding entries and practice this week and next week. The team list can be found in the “News” section of our website. So if you made the selections this year, congratulations. If you were not quite there yet, then I think that is a great goal to set with your coach and train hard for over the coming year.
This is a very busy week, with non-swimming events so let’s recap practice times.
Monday : No practice
Tuesday: Early Release day: 1 hour earlier than normal
Thursday/Friday: ES Parent Teacher conference (Practice times stay the same).
Marlins Mayhem Meet (March 22):
If you were entered for this meet but made the BISAC selections then I have scratched you from this meet. This meet is for people not on the BISAC teams. I will contact the swimmers attending this meet individually about bus times Saturday morning.
That is it for now; see you all on deck soon.
