Hunter Hitchens sets team record, wins high point

At the recent Far Western Championships in Morgan Hilll, CA, Hunter Hitchens lowered his own team record in the 200 yd Butterfly. 

After a personal best time from prelims with a 1:56.30, Hunter’s final’s time improved .06 seconds to once again re-set his own record to a 1:56.24.

As a result, Hunter’s combined scores from all events swam earned him the 13-14 boy’s high point winner with 62 points, 9 points more than long-time rival Alex Liang from Palo Alto.

The Novaquatics finished 3rd over all in team points behind Palo Alto and Santa Clara Swim Club.
