The Northern Kentucky Clippers are very excited to announce the Class of 2014 has officially made all of their decisions on where they will be attending school in the fall. The final two hold outs TJ Albright and Will McMurtry came to a decision this past week.
TJ Albright decided that he would attend the
University of Alabama in the fall. This was a hard decision for TJ
because in making this decision he too has decided that at the end
of the summer he will be closing out his career and focusing on
academics. This was a hard decision for TJ as he had multiple
opportunities to continue his career but at the end of the day he
knew Alabama was the right fit academically.
TJ began his career in the winter of 2005 and has worked his way to the highest level in the Clippers program. We are very proud of TJ and all of his accomplishments. Good luck to him in his final season and in all his future endeavors.
Will McMurtry finished his plans this week to attend Washington and Lee University in the fall. Will has taken many visits because of the opportunities he has been given through hard work both in the classroom and the pool. This was a hard decision for Will but is very confident this was the right call for his swimming and academics.
Will began his swimming career in the fall of 2004 with the Clippers. He was following in the footsteps of his older brother and sister who were swimming for the Clippers. Over the last few years Will has made a name for himself as one of the top IM and Backstroke swimmers in the program. We are very confident that he will go on to see even more improvements in college. Good Luck to Will
