T.B.A.C. Brandon Partners
Commodores' Coach on Deck

The coaches and senior swimmers of TBAY Brandon were honored to have Angie Nicolletta, Assistant Coach, Vanderbilt Women’s Swimming, visit for a Q&A on Tuesday April 29th. Nicolletta has only been at Vanderbilt (the academic star of the SEC) since the summer of 2012, but is already working diligently to make Vandy a top-twenty swim program to match its status as a top academic institution. Nicolletta brings a wide range of coaching experience to Nashville, including coaching time at both the club and collegiate level. She was also a four-year letter winner and two-time captain on the women's swimming team at Louisville. Prior to joining the Vandy staff, Nicolletta was a volunteer assistant coach at the United States Air Force Academy.

Nicolletta was able to visit one of her prized recruits, Bailey Bowden of TBAY Brandon, who will be joining the Vandy squad this coming fall. Her Q&A with the senior swimmers focused on the college recruiting process, the collegiate swimming experience, campus life, and what it means to be a Commodore. Coach Nicolletta’s Q&A provided a wealth of first-hand information for the current crop of TBAY Brandon swimmers that will soon be navigating the college selection process.
