WRA Swim Families,
As we are almost halfway through the year, we want to remind everyone of our annual fundraising requirements. In an effort to avoid raising the cost of monthly activity dues, the Aquanauts implemented a minimum fundraising commitment for each family. As in 2013, each family is expected to raise $150 in one or a combination of all of our fundraising opportunities: The annual sponsorship campaign, the Swim-a-Thon, and sales of pizza discount cards. Participation in each of these campaigns is optional; however any families who have not raised the minimum $150 on October 1, 2014 will have the difference charged to their account.
Discount cards are available in the office, and can be sold to family/friends/coworkers, etc. The Swim-a-Thon will be held in September, so be on the lookout for additional details as they are announced. In the meantime, the sponsorship campaign is a great way to begin to work on meeting your family’s fundraising commitment, as you can raise anywhere from $50 - $1000+ per sponsor. Simply drop off copies of the sponsorship package (which can be downloaded by clicking here) to local businesses, and return any completed sponsorship forms and contributions to: WRA Aquanauts, P.O. Box 2362, Warner Robins, GA 31099. Sponsorships can also be turned in to Amber Wellborn in the Aquanauts pool office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, from 5:30 – 7:00. Be sure to include your name on the sponsorship form so that funds raised can be attributed to the appropriate family.
