If you see one of our Panther Cub 8 & under swimmers at the pool this week give them a big “high 5” and congratulate them on a job well done this weekend. 38 swimmers did us proud on Saturday as we piled up tons of PB swims and great times with friends. The coaches are looking forward to getting them back in the pool and back to work, getting ready for Panther Palooza next week.
Practice times stay the same for Parent/Teacher Conferences this week.
Next Tuesday October 7 (Panter Palooza) starts at 1:30.

Helpful hint of the week:
Nutrition…not just important on meet day!
This weekend I walked around and did my regular snack check and was (as usual) happy with most parent selections. There were some cookies, doughnuts and even day-old French fries. Please remember that you might as well put rocks in your little swimmers pockets, as feed them this food on race day. This food is high in fat and sugar and brings the swimmers energy level WAY DOWN!
To make things simple I will add a list of Swim Meet Snacks on our webpage under “Team Info”. But there are many great ideas on swim websites like the following”
It is also important to have proper nutrition all week long. Here are some great articles from USA Swimming.
That is all for now, see you on deck!
