Two Marin Pirates Qualify for 2016 Olympic Trials...so far!

United States Swimming just announced  the qualifying times for the 2016 Olympic Trials and two current team members made the cut!

Congratulations to Halle Morris (sophomore, Terra Linda High School) who qualified in the 100 meter breast with a time of 1:11.40.  Halle qualified while taking 12th at last summer’s Junior Nationals

Riley Scott (senior, Petaluma High School) qualified on the 200 meter breast with a time of  2:32.37 achieved while taking 21st at last summer's National Championship.  Riley represented the United States at the World Junior Championships in Dubai  in 2013 and recently accepted a full scholarship to USC.

Halle and Riley are both  hoping to qualify for additional events.

Other Pirates are just tenths off qualifying and we hope to match or exceed our  team record of four qualifiers for the 2012 Trials.
