Colby and Chris both had very strong performances at the Mel Zajac International Swim Meet this past weekend. 

Colby had great in season times, reaching finals in all three of the fly events. Colby was 11th in the 50m Butterfly with a time of 25.96, just .2 over his best. He was also just over .2 over his best time in the 100m Butterfly with a time of 56.86 finishing 12th overall. In the 200m Butterfly Colby had a great effort in the C final, posting the 6th fastest time of the night and moving up to 17th with a time of 2:06.75, 2 seconds over his best. Fantastic racing with his increase in training. 

Chris achieved his 2nd long course Canadian Age Group Championships time standard in the 50m Backstroke with a time of 29.70 finishing 23rd overall in the finals. The time also broke his previous club record by .22. Chris had his best morning swims in the freestyle and backstroke events as he continues to gain experience at meets with national competition.
