Happy Independence Day

Happy Independence Day to all Wolverines and their families.

Today, as Americans, we celebrate a long and proud history of freedom. And in that celebration we remember the mountains we have climbed to gain that liberty.

Aside from the fireworks and barbecues (and four day weekends)

We also remember our troops, foreign and domestic who have fought valiantly for our ability to claim these rights.

We also respect our country's tolerance of diversity and acceptance of others.

On this day we celebrate this country's free thinking minds, who in the shadow of a greater empire, came into the light and stood in front of an immovable object and cast it aside. Something we as swimmers know all to well!

We also respect the fact that we have one more day to allow Saxon Woods to rise in temperature.

Happy 4th,
The Wolverines.
