Unfortunately MAC will not be attending the RAC Meet next weekend............

Unfortunately MAC will not be attending the RAC Meet next weekend. For the first time in over 5 years, we have been shut out eventhough our entries were received by the deadline.  The good news is that we are investigating an additional opportunity for our swimmers to compete in October.  We should have a new meet identified by Monday that has a good venue, appropriate events and good competition. Thanks for understanding.

MAC Master's swimmer and MAC mom, Janet Manning and MAC dad, Paul Brabson competed in the Little Red Lighthouse swim in New York City on September 26th. The Little Red Lighthouse swim is a 5.85-mile swim from Clinton Cove to 165th Street, within view of the Little Red Lighthouse and features views of upper Manhattan, the Palisades, and the George Washington Bridge.   Out of over 200 swimmers, Paul finished 9th overall in a time of 1 hour 54 minutes and 5 seconds. Janet finished 107th overall in a time of 2 hours, 22 minutes and 14 seconds. The water temperature was not much over 70 degrees and in order to be an "official" swim it had to be done without a wetsuit!  Congratulations!
