This is the MAC News for Monday, June 21st. 

Congratulations to everyone who competed in the GTAC meet this past weekend.  A wrap-up will be posted here once the complete results are available. 

The complete results for the NBAC Long Course Championships were finally made available over the weekend.  Congratulations go to our two top finishers - Thomas Colket and Muhammad Hudhud.  Thomas took top honors in the 12 & under 200 backstroke and also in the 11-12 boys' 50 and 100 backstroke.  Muhammad took home the blue ribbon in every event he swam - 12 & under 200 breaststroke and 400 free and also the 11-12 boys' 50 and 100 breaststroke, 50, 100, and 200 free, 200 fly, and 200 IM.  Way to go!  In addition, 5 new team records were set.  Joanna Yeh lowered her own record in the 15-16 girls' 100 free, Muhammad set new standards in the 11-12 boys' 50 free, 100 breaststroke, and 200 IM, and Thomas now owns the top time in the 11-12 boys' 200 backstroke. 

The only group left to train today is Age Group I.  They will swim in the indoor pool from 4:30-6:15 pm. 

The practice schedule for tomorrow is normal - Senior Red and Black from 5:30-7:45 am in the outdoor pool and again from 3:30-5:00 pm in the indoor pool, Senior White from 6:30-8:30 am and Age Group II from 7:00-9:00 am at Whittier, Novice II and III from 5:00-6:15 pm and Novice I from 6:00-7:15 pm in the indoor pool, and Senior Prep and Masters from 8:00-9:00 pm in the outdoor pool.  There is no practice tomorrow for Age Group I.
