This is the MAC News for Tuesday, June 3rd.
MAC had two swimmers take top honors at the Naval Academy "A" Buster meet this past weekend. Congratulations to Ahmed Hegazi who won the Open boys 50 free and to Michael Kim who took home the blue ribbon in the Open boys 100 free.
Congratulations also go to the top finishers at the MAC Biathlon this past weekend. For the boys, it was Andy Brabson (29:04), Kent Southern (29:35), and Josh Kim (30:49) and for the girls, it was Laurel Brabson (31:23 - 4th finisher overall), Margot Manning (33:52), and Shannon McClellan (33:57).
TOMORROW, Age Group I and II will be participating in the Dream Extreme (for more details click here - www.mdswim.org/Making_Waves!.pdf) during the regularly scheduled Age Group I practice. All Age Group II swimmers will be allowed to leave once they have completed all of the events. Age Group I swimmers will stay the entire time and continue with normal practice.
The practice schedule for today is normal - Senior Red and Black from 4:00-6:15, Senior White from 5:45-8:00, Age Group II from 6:00-8:00, and Senior Prep and Masters from 8:00-9:00 all in the outdoor pool. Novice I will be in the indoor pool from 5:30-6:30 and Novice II and III will be there as well from 6:30-7:30. There is no practice today for Age Group I. Seniors will have morning practice tomorrow from 5:15-6:30.
