Swimmers of New England:
The New England Board of United States Swimming is looking for one new Junior Athlete Representatives. We are looking for a swimmer to join our four athlete reps already members of the board. If you are already actively involved with United States Swimming, or wish to be involved more, and can serve two years on the Board, please apply!. Athletes must be 16 years old OR at least an incoming sophomore in high school in September.
The Junior Athlete Representatives must attend the New England Board meetings in Wellesley, MA , the Awards Banquet in the fall and the HOD meetings. They must also be available, if necessary, to attend the annual United States Swimming Convention (if over age 16) that is held in September, and possibly the Eastern Zone Meeting on the second weekend of May in Fort Lauderdale. The Athlete Representative is responsible for communication between New England swimmers and the Board. This helps not only to represent swimmers but to help New England make United States Swimming as rewarding as possible for all swimmers. You will also represent New England at the National United States Swimming Convention.
