Exeter Swimmers shine at Home Meet: Exeter Sprints.

 

Exeter Swim Team last weekend hosted the 30th  Annual Exeter Sprints Swim meet.  Several Swimmers posted best times and even qualified for several championship meets.

Exeter added 12  new swimmers to the 123 already qualified swimmers for the Regional Championship in February.  Also, Exeter added 8 new swimmers to the 44 already qualified swimmers for the Silvers Championship meet in late February.

Lastly, 6 Exeter swimmers qualified for the Senior Championship meet at WPI December 17-20.  These include Hannah Deschenes in the 200 backstroke (2:09.33)Meghan Gray 100 & 200 Backstroke (58.51 & 2:05.47) 200 Free (2:12.08 LCM), Andrew Bennett 100 Breaststroke (1:03.93), Andrew Benson 50 free (22.92) 1650 free (17:01.40) and 200 fly (2:03.33) 100 Free (49.29), Thomas Gallup 50 Free (23.03) 100 & 200 Breaststroke (57.57 & 2:12.56)and 200 IM (2:00.66) and Toy Min in the 200 Fly (2:03.33)

Congratulations to the Swimmers, Coaches and Parents of the Exeter Fleet for a successful meet.  Exeter’s next home meet is January 17th at Roger Nekton Pool.
