Chris swam at the Western Canadian Championships this past weekend with impressive results against the top swimmers from half of the country including many Canadian national team members. He reached finals in the 100m Backstroke improving his time and club record in both heats and finals finishing 6th overall with a 1:00.33! Chris raced in finals in the 50m Backstroke finishing 8th and was 10th in the consolation finals in the 200m Backstroke with a best time. His 50m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle and 50m Freestyle were just over his best times and almost put him into the top 16 for a second swim. Very strong swimming for his first long course meet of the season!
