14&under Swimmers Show Clipper Pride

After being at 3 other pools this weekend for different meets and practice, I ended the weekend by spending the final session at the 14 & under Regional Championships. Thats right 4 pools in 4 days(Silverlake, Miami University, IUPUI and Mason). What a great meet for all of the Clippers 14&unders who participated. I have not put all of the numbers together from the meet but it was very noticeable during the weekend as i followed the meet through text messages from coach Chad and following the results when the were available online that our swimmers showed up ready to swim and swim fast. It is so neat to be able to sit back and watch our young swimmers work so hard and swim with so much Clipper Pride. Then to talk to them after a race or listen to them talk to their coach and see the excitement in their eyes. Yes we did have some that didn't turn out so good but to see coaches work so hard to get them back into it and realize it wasn't the last time they will swim that race.

I loved seeing the cheering from teammates that just came to watch and show support. I even took a moment to sit back and watch the parents swim every stroke with the swimmers with there heads going in rythym with every stroke that was taken. Priceless!! Loved It!!!

Below are some of the highlights from each night of swimming. This is by no means all of the highlights but some that I was able to come up with.

Thanks to all of the Swimmers, Parents and Coaches for a great meet.
