BBST swimmers stellar at high school state championships

FEDERAL WAY, WA - BBST sent 15 swimmers to compete for their respective high schools this past weekend, February 19-20, at the Washington state high school championships in Federal Way.  BBST swimmers were stellar, qualifying 11 swimmers to the finals.

Austin Fish (2A) was named Swimmers of the Meet, after winning the 200 IM and 100 Breast in All-American Consideration Times. 

Sehome High School took home top team honors (2A), winning the 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays. 

Top 8 Finishers (2A): Donovan Brogan (200 Free – 2nd, 100 Fly – 5th), Alex Thon (200 Free – 7th, 100 Free – 3rd), Ryan Newell (200 Free – 8th, 500 Free – 7th), Austin Fish (200 IM – 1st, 100 Breast – 1st), Patrick Gregory (50 Free – 2nd, 100 Breast – 4th), Gus Evans (100 Breast – 2nd), Casey Klipsch (100 Free – 5th, 100 Back – 6th), Andy Small (200 IM – 5th, 500 Free – 2nd), RD Hunter (200 IM – 7th), Jordan Fish (500 Free – 1st, 100 Back – 3rd).

Top 16 Finisher (3A): Daniel Hsieh (200 IM – 16th, 100 Breast – 14th)

State Champions: Jordan Fish (500 Free, 200 Medley Relay), Alex Thon (400 Free Relay), Ryan Newell (400 Free Relay), Casey Klipsch (200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay), Patrick Gregory (200 Medley Relay), Austin Fish (200 IM, 100 Breast, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay).
