Haas ends High School Season with Big Time Results

Ryan Haas, a junior at St. Xavier in Cincinnati, finished his high school season this morning at the Ohio High School State Championships. In front of a crowd of over 2,000 people Ryan performed amazingly in all of his events.

He started the morning helping his St. X bombers finish a very impressive 2nd place finish in the 200 Medley Relay. Ryan then competed in the 100 fly where he finished 16th place(came into the meet seeded 20th). Not finished with his day, Ryan competed in the 100 backstroke where he blazed to a 6th place finish going 52.55 and swimming under the NCSA Junior cut for the 3rd time in one week.
The Clippers are very proud of Ryan’s results at the Ohio meet and all of our swimmers at the Kentucky High School meet. Congratulations to Ryan and his St. Xavier teammates as they brought home the team title again this year.

Clippers 15&over swimmers will be in action again this weekend at Miami University as they compete in the Ohio Senior Championships. At this time 16 swimmers will then move onto the NCSA Junior Nationals in Orlando March 15-21.
