Brady Takes To Water At Sectional Finals

Today Sharli Brady competed in her 1st USA Swimming Sectionals finals. This morning Sharli went the 3rd fastest time for all 14 yr olds in the meet with a time of 2:11.99. She then followed it up with a strong swim in the 100 butterfly with a 1:06.78.

Tonight at finals Sharli competed in the 100 butterfly finishing a strong 20th place going a faster time than this morning by almost a ½ second. Sharli’s time was the 5th fastest time for all 14&unders. Way to Go Sharli on another great day of swimming.

Tomorrow Sharli with be joined by fellow sectional rookie, Lilly Morgan as they take to the pool in another exciting day of swimming.



After a 24 hour delay of the meet because 18 swimmers(including Cory Chitwood) were diagnosed with the noravirus that it is believed they caught from the plane ride to Columbus, Cory got his sophomore year at NCAA’s off and going. Cory competed in the 200 IM were he finished with a life time best of 1:44.00. His time tonight landed him a 13th place finish overall. He then helped the Zona 400 medley relay to a 5th place finish leading off with a best time of :46.21. Tomorrow he will compete in the 100 back and his signature event, 200 back will be on Sunday. Some people in the media has him favored to win.
