On Saturday, September 16, FAST swimmers headed to Morse Reservoir in Noblesville for the Indiana Open Water State Championships. Battling fierce competition and wavy conditions, our athletes dug deep, fought hard, and swam well. And, for the 4th year in a row, your Fishers Area Swimming Tigers are the Indiana Open Water State Champions!
Finishing in the Top 10 for their respective age groups were Mia Wilson (7th; G 10 & Under), Finley Flanary (9th; G 11-12), Lydia Reade (5th, G 13-14), Abby Jahns (4th, G 15 & Over), Morgan Booth (5th, G 15 & Over), Savannah Kennedy (6th, G 15 & Over), AJ Adams (10th; B 10 & Under), James Stasey (5th, B 11-12), Kyle Ponsler (2nd, B 13-14), Tyler Schwertferger (4th, B 13-14), Reed Beaumont (9th, B 13-14), and Cory Jacocks (6th, B 15 & Over).
On the relay side, the Boys 13-14 relay of Reed Beaumont, Tyler Schwertferger, Kyle Ponsler, and Alex Garcia finished 2nd! Check out both the individual results and relay results, as well as the final Team Scores. Congratulations to all who competed! And...
