Carlie Herich Makes College Decision

The Clippers are very proud to announce that Carlie Herich has decided to attend and represent the Thunder of Wheaton College. Wheaton College is a four year, residential, academically rigorous Christian liberal arts college that ranks 56th in all liberal arts colleges in the country.

Carlie  chose the Thunder over Evansville and Calvin College. We are very proud of Calrie and her decision. It was a very difficult decision with both Evansville and Calvin College being great schools’ as well.

Carlie moved to the Clippers when she was 11 years old. She began her swimming career in Texas, where she swam for 4 years with the North Texas Nadadores and built her love of the sport. Since she came to the Clippers she has achieved many great things and has never lost her love of the sport. Some of her top accoplishments include multiple top 8 finishes in Ohio JO Championships, Top 8 finishes at the USA Sectional Championships and at the Ohio Senior Championships . Carlie is currently the 6th fastest 1,650 free swimmer in Clippers history and the 5th fastest 1,500 free. This is a very impressive list to be a member of.

Please congratulate Carlie when you see her on deck. It is a well deserved accomplishment.

More Stats are being put together. We will be doing a signing party for all swimmers who have made the commitment to swim in college in the near future.
