SWIM 4 FUND$
Our annual fundraiser is this Saturday! It will take place in Carson City from 4:30 – 6:30 PM. I am looking forward to a fun event. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for your support!
I am finalizing RENO’s online team store. This team store will be through SwimOutlet.com and it will contain training equipment and team suits/gear. A portion of all purchases through the team store will come directly back to RENO. I will have more information soon.

The Pacific Zone All Star Meet is quickly approaching. RENO has 8 swimmers who were selected to represent Zone 4 at the meet:
- Sofie McLean (Orange)

- Amaya Aramini (Pre-Senior)
- Ella Palmer (Pre-Senior)
- Lucy Platz (Pre-Senior)
- Sam Lindley (Pre-Senior)

Coach Melanie was also selected as the 11-12 girls coach for Zone 4. Congratulations to these swimmers and Coach Melanie. Good luck at the All Star meet on March 4 in Carson City!
Next Swim Meets
The next local swim meet will be NNA Age Group Open on March 24 - 25 at Northwest Pool in Reno. Click here for more information. The registration deadline is Wednesday, March 14 at midnight.
For those swimmers attending the Junior Olympic Championships in Pleasanton, CA, please be aware that the online entry deadline is Wednesday, March 7.
Team Break – April 2 – 8
There will be NO practice for all groups during the week of April 2. Normal practice will resume on Monday, April 9. The main reason for this break is Northwest Pool will be shut down for a week of maintenance. The City of Reno will be installing a new UV filter for the pool. This should greatly improve the air quality in the facility.
For swimmers participating in the Far Western Championships, I have secured pool space in Carson City during this week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I will get the details of those practices to the swimmers competing at Far Westerns.
