Comox Review

Comox Last Chance Qualifier Meet Review

Seven swimmers traveled to Comox to get some more short course racing in before our performance meets take place in March. It was a fun trip and everyone had some great racing. The meet gave out rubber ducks for each heat winner and all of our girls raced to at least one duck!

Quincy raced to her fourth and fifth SwimBC Senior Open time standards in the 400m Freestyle and 200m Butterfly, both swims were big drops and team records. Sophie had a great meet taking off time in both her 200m and 400m IM events and racing just over her best times in all of her other events. Sidney had a big drop in the 400m Freestyle and is now just over 5:00 in the event. Sidney also took off five seconds in her 200m Backstroke. Jessie set a new best time and team record in her 100m Backstroke. Cami broke 3:00 in the 200m Breaststroke for the first time and had an impressive 200m IM racing to a time of 2:30. Morgan and Thomas both raced to best times in the 100m Butterfly.
