In addition to learning about dedication and hard work by spending hours training in the pool, PASA swimmers also learn about the value of being a community. Each year, PASA participates in community service activities with all their swimmers. This month, PASA sponsored two different events:
PASA-DKS adoped a team in Puerto Rico and held a swim-a-thon to send money to help with the Hurricane Relief efforts. You can read more about this event in this Swimming World article.
PASA-Rinconada held an annual Kick-for-Kids kick-a-thon to raise money for the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. This event has raised almost $50,000 over the last six years to support sick children in our community. You can read more about this event on the Kick-for-Kids website
