January 16th Team Newsletter

We wanted to keep everyone well informed about what our schedule and upcoming events are.

The schedule for January will remain the same as for the fall.

We will not have practices on Saturday January 19th, Sunday January 20th, or Monday January 21stdue to the Carson Blizzard Blast and MLK day (the pool is closed).

Officials Clinic will be offered January 29th.  If you would like to help out with the sport of swimming and become an official at the meets, please take a look at the upcoming beginner officials clinic.  If you want to just come and see what the strokes should look like and what is legal, you are invited too.

The high school swim season is set to begin February 25th.  We will have a slightly modified schedule.  I will release the high school schedule in the next week or two.

On a final note.  We expect excellence from our athletes and our coaches.  To better do that, we need proper tools and equipment.  NNA has invested heavily in equipment for our team in the last few months.

There is no doubt that we will have invested well over $20,000 in equipment for this year alone. Our biggest fundraisers are our swim meets.  That is why it is so important for everyone to help out and make them successful.
