Thank you everyone for such a great Holiday Party!  We saw many new faces at the party and shared lots of good food. Our swimmers had a fantastic time with the Gingerbread House Making Contest. Congratulations to our Gingerbread House winners! We have some amazing Gingerbread House artists in the making on our team.
WHITE ELEPHANT AUCTION - We raised $300 for the Paradise Piranha's Swim Team.  Nearly all the swim team families on this team lost their homes last fall in the Camp fire. The money we raised at the White Elephant Auction this year will be going to help those swim team families in need in Paradise. In the next week all our swimmers will be signing a card to mail with the check. Thank you to all the families that donated and bid on items for this great cause. We will be able to make their Holiday Season a little brighter. Go SHARKS!

Congratulations to all our VJO swimmers that attempted the New Years Challenge of 10 x 1,000's on January 2nd. You are all so amazing and dedicated! We know you all could have been at home sleeping like most of your classmates, but instead you decided to take the bull by the horns and tackle the biggest and longest set you'll do all year. The 15 swimmers that completed this set, swam 10,000 yards, which is 400 lengths and equal to 6 miles! We are so proud of all of you! Bring it on 2019, we are ready for you.   Go SHARKS!
NO PRACTICE - Monday January 21st
There will be no practice on Monday January 21st due to the MLK Holiday. We hope everyone has a great day off. See you all back at the pool on Tuesday Jan 22nd.
Sunday, February 10th
WE ARE DOING IT AGAIN! VJO will be helping to feed the hungry and homeless again on February 10th. If you missed helping this month don't worry you can get involded next month. Our swimmers and parents have been having a great time getting involved with our community and helping out.  It is so amazing to see our young swimmers helping out people in need.
Click on the link below to sign up.  On Sunday, February 10th from 4-6:30pm come help VJO give back to the community.  We need 15-20 VJO swimmers to help out with the "Sparrow Project" and feeding the hungry and homeless.  This will take place at the 1st Baptist Church in Vallejo. Our swimmers will help set up, help serve food, and help clean up.  This is a great way for our swimmers to get involved in their community. Swimmers can also count this toward their community service requirements for school.  Swimmers under the age of 11 need to have a parent helping them.  If you wish to leave while your child is volunteering, please make sure to leave your child with another parent. This is NOT a VJO practice and children are NOT under the supervision of VJO coaches. Thank you!
