DCST Skins the Otters
 
            On Tuesday, June 8, DCST won its first dual meet of the summer season with a 447 – 258 victory over the visiting Oswego Otters. As a team, DCST has very impressive showing with 134 career best times out of a total of 249 swims for a 54% improvement rate.
            The following 49 swimmers had at least two career best times: Dillon Anderson, Tyler Berger, Ava Bickner, Drake Burger, Sadie Burton, Tyler Conklin, Mikaila DiCostanzo, Grace Fergus, Nolan Fergus, Alyssa Ferrigan, Erin Fidler, Bailey Flemming, Grace Flemming, Sarah Hein, Jacob Hull, Tyler Hull, Megan Kish, Katrina LeMieux, Jonathan Liu, Olivia Lohse, Riley Lohse, Michael Lorr, Joseph Lorr, Caroline Mackey, Holden Mackey, Spencer Mackey, Kyle Miller, Collin Moon, Dylan Powers, Dylan Rasmussen, Kyle Rasmussen, Riley Regan, Charlie Roberts, Sarah Robertson, Wyatt Romero, Elissa Roose, David Ruetten, Paul Ruetten, Jenna Runde, Tyler Schultz, Drew Seneczko, Garret Sims, Libby Swedberg, Andrew Tatum, Chloe Wester, Kayla Wester, Mackenzie Whitmer, Athena Ye, and Zachary Zographos.
            After each meet, the coaching staff picks two swimmers, one girl and one boy, as the “Big Dogs" of the meet. Big Dogs are not only selected on their performance in the meet, but the coaches also take into consideration the swimmer’s practice attendance, work ethic, team spirit and sportsmanship. For this meet, Elissa Roose, age 9, and Kyle Rasmussen, age 8, were selected as Big Dogs of the meet.
