PWSL week 1 Results

Welcome to the 2019 swim season. The weather was cool for the start of the season. For one swimmer the season started off with a bang. Piedmont's swimmer, Camille Spink, edged out a new PWSL record in the girl's 13-14 back stroke with a new time of 29.84.  Unfortunately, due to some computer issues I am unable to give the total team records broken this weekend.

I want to bring everybody up to speed as far as the results site. There is a new site that we are working on at Currently the site will only show the team scores and results. This site is being hosted on the cloud service which will make up keep and access easier in the future. With any new site there are bugs that happen. We ran into several yesterday, but I have a great team that is working to make the site better than in the past. Currently all of the results are posted by meet and if you click the link you can see each event results. The top times page is still being worked on so for today HERE is a PDF of all the times in the county.

On the team front, the closest meet goes to Old Bridge vs Montclair. This meet was decided by only 9 points. The icing on the cake here is both teams are in the same division and I look forward to the rematch. Speaking of division meets, the next closest meet for the weekend was again by two teams in the same division. Urbanna put up a valiant fight against Ben Lomond with only a differance of 46 points. Another meet with less than 100 points differance was Ashland vs Braemar. Ashland swam up a division to edge out Braemar by only 56 points.

Just a few interesting facts from this weekend

  • 3570 Swimmers
  • 9158 Splashes
  • 4024 Time improvements from seed times

Please see the updated  summary sheet for an overview of all the meets. The Top 25 individual times and    Top 15 Relays of the week are also available.
