A Note from the Coach:
It is HOT
outside! It is so important that swimmers stay properly hydrated.
Please be sure to send swimmers to practice with a bottle of water.
The recommended amount to drink is 8oz for every 15-20 minutes of
swimming. Gold and Platinum swimmers need to bring at LEAST 32oz or
they will not be allowed to participate in practice. We cannot risk
the swimmers' health from possible dehydration.

Tips for Swimmers
We are entering the Late Season of our Training Cycle (remember,
detailed information on our training cycles can be found by
clicking here). This is the time in the season when swimmers (who
have been training hard and attending practice regularly) should
achieve Goal Times and/or earn State Qualifying Times, if either
have not already been achieved.
During this cycle we are focusing on
- Continuing to be consistent in
- A progressive shift from endurance
to speed training
- Continuing emphasis on proper
technique while building speed
- Having a positive attitude and
determination to achieve our goals
