Summer JG Participants



PVAC Junior Lifeguards

I am so excited we have so many PVAC swimmers participating in the area Junior life guarding programs, I think that everyone should have the JG experience at least once in there swimming background. JG’s is a great opportunity to meet new and old friends, Have  some fun in the sun, and work on developing some much needed life long  water survival skills. 

JG Tips

1) Pack your swim bag the night before.

2) Keep your self hydrated ( Drink water all day, and lots of it)

3) Always pack a few healthy snacks

4) Practice good sun safety. apply and re-apply your sun block when you get in and out of the water.

PVAC Jr. LG’s Training Schedule

8:00am-11:00am Group

PVAC Swim Training 3 times a week  5:00-6:30pm 


PVAC Swim Training 3 times a week  5:30-7:00pm 

Jr. LG’s is a great opportunity to cross train for our sport but we still need to take advantage of our summer training opportunities. The afternoon work outs will be focused on Stroke fundamentals, drill progression and Race theory. These practices will keep the swimmer up to speed and develop a solid base foundation for the upcoming short course season in September which will give them the ability to compete at a higher level when we return next season.
