Boys Meet : Great meet for our boys team, it was close the entire time, but we lacked the numbers for our free relays. Special congratulations to Dylan Alexander as our graduating senior swimmer. Our swimmers had some great turns in their races but we all need to work on our finishes. Looking forward to a full week of practice.
Girls Meet: Congratulations to all the swimmers this weekend against UMAC. We were able to pull off a win. Great job. Going into next week the girls need to work on turns. Back stroke counts are key on the turn. We had a special Coach this weekend Coach Kim was there helping us line up the kids and cheer our swims on. Thank you so much for your help. Next Saturday is our last dual meet. We will be swimming Wissahickon and recognizing some very special Girl Swimmers. See you all next week at practice.
Centennial Odd Age Meet: this mornings meet was a fun meet. We had time drops lead by Ryan Minnerly. You could tell that the kids had a long weekend. I will say it again , when swimming back we need to work on our stroke count going into the wall. very important when doing a turn and a finish. Over all the kids looked good. I am looking forward to having a full week of practice as well
Odd age meet session two:
Awesome time at the odd age meet today with the 10-13 year old swimmers. There were a lot of time drops as well as award winners. This meet was also a great opportunity for some of our younger swimmers to step out of their comfort zone and try the 200 IM for the first time. Shout out to Malak and Claire for giving it a try.
Have a Great Week,
