IASAS Week News

Happy New Year to all Panther Swimmers,

IASAS week is here finally and the air is clean! We have had very bad times with our air pollution situation here in Thailand, but it looks like it is getting better. That being said, we completely understand if you are keeping your swimmers away on days when the pollution readings are high. The swim team follows the school policies as written on our website.

Important Notes:

IASAS Swimming Championships this week: Jan 30-Feb1

This week we will host the top high school swimmers from our South East Asian sister schools: ISM, SAS, ISKL, TAS and JIS will be sending their top 12 boys and 12 girls here to try and take home the gold.

Both of our girls’ and boys’ teams are very competitive in this conference. Both boys and girls have medaled in the last 5 years and are looking to keep this streak alive.

Our practices on Thursday and Friday at the 50m pool are canceled, but we sure hope you come and cheer on your team mates after school. Finals start at 2:30pm and run until 5:00.

Practices at the 25m pool will continue on as scheduled.

Events to Sign Up For:

Splash Saturday (Short Course Meter) March 7

Splash Sunday (Long Course Meter) March 8

United World College, Singapore (Long Course Meters) April 17-19

That is all we need to know about this week, see you on deck!
