Upcoming 2020-2021 PVAC Swim Season

 Hello PVAC,

During these uncertain times, we hope that you find yourself having a healthy and happy Summer. Below is an update regarding the upcoming PVAC Swim Season.  Our goal is to keep you up to date with information as we receive it.  We are currently working diligently to try to find a way to safely get our swimmers back in the water doing what they love.

  •  We appreciate your patience and flexibility in the coming weeks as we work through logistics.
  • The Community Ed Aquatic Program has developed a Safety Plan that has been submitted to the PV School District. PVAC falls under this safety plan and will be required to adhere to the Safety Plan in totality. The Safety Plan will be shared upon approval.
  • If we are granted access to the PV High School pool, we will be limited to a maximum of 36 swimmers in the pool at one time (this is subject to change).  In order to achieve multiple practice groups, we will include staggered start times. Swimmers will be masked in and out of the building, using one door as entrance and another door as exit. Locker rooms will be closed except for bathroom use, there will be no changing before or after practice. No additional people will be allowed in the facility,  it will be limited to Swimmers and Coaches.
  • PVAC does not have use of the Ursinus Pool as it has in the past. Ursinus will re-evaluate in December
  • We have a staff of coaches that are ready and excited to coach if it is deemed safe and we are granted access to the pool.
  • We do not know if there will be a SAL or USA season.
  • If we have use of the PV High School Pool and SAL/USA are not happening we will attempt to be creative in establishing some competitions within the club and virtually with neighboring teams.
  •  If we are able to use the PV High School Pool, we will open registration shortly to returning swim familes. Registration will require payment and the signing of a  waiver.

Thank you for your patience and support. The safety and well being of our Swim Families remains our top priority.

Stay Well,

PVAC Board Members & Coaches
