AIR QUALITY IMPROVES & SWIMMERS BACK
IN WATER
It was great to see everyone
back at the pool again yesterday. It is wonderful to finally
have better air quality this week and be able to get all our
swimmers back into the water again. We thank everyone for your
patience last week while we had to cancel so many practices. It was
also great to see so many of our swimmers keeping up their
workouts over our Zoom Meetings. Great Job Swimmers!
VJO ANNUAL AWARDS
BANQUET
Please Fill Out RSVP
Survey!
Believe it or not, it’s time for VJO’s Annual
Awards Banquet! This year has been challenging to say the
least, but nevertheless we would still love to celebrate our
2019-2020 swim season and the accomplishments of our
swimmers.
In order to safely plan for this event, we need your
feedback. Our team has secured the Ascension Episcopal Church
in Vallejo on Saturday, 9/26/2020, to hold our awards banquet
OUTSIDE in the back lawn area. There will be strict social
distancing guidelines in place where families will need to sit 6
feet away from others and also must wear masks.
Traditionally, this event would be a potluck, but due to the
circumstances, we will be foregoing the potluck this year.
Depending on the interest and how many people RSVP, our plan
is to break it up in two sessions (1 ½ hour each session) to
allow proper social distancing. We would also ask families to
bring their own lawn chairs and/or blankets.
The VJO Board and Coaches would like to thank you for all your
support and ask you to please click on the link below and help us
prepare for a safe and fun Awards Banquet!

PRACTICE PROTOCOL PROCEDURES-
CUNNINGHAM POOL
All VJO swimmers and families attending practice at the
Cunningham Pool must read through our "Practice Protocol
Procedures" PDF for Cunningham Pool. We need all swimmers to
know what to expect when they arrive for practice at the Cunningham
Pool. The PDF will teach our swimmers the new protocol and
procedures that we will be following at the Cunningham Pool.
These procedures are similar to both the American Canyon and
Benicia Pool.
