Good morning MAX Families,
I am happy to announce Coach Brown has made it through the worst of it with great spirits. In typical Coach Brown fashion, he is keeping his head up high and ‘still moving forward’! He cannot wait to return to life on the pool deck in about 6-8 weeks.
A health update with permission from Coach Brown: During his quarantine from our protocols, he experienced symptoms that made him call 9-1-1. Coach Brown had blood clots in his foot and leg. After surgeries to remove them and medication to thin the blood, they returned. Unfortunately, they ultimately had to amputate. He is healing well and is joyful.
There is currently a Go Fund Me to help cover the costs
post-surgery not included in his insurance. Included is a great
