This information is for swimmers in the 13&O meet this weekend.
The 13&O meet is this weekend. It is the largest meet since Covid hit last March. There are over 400 swimmer on Sat. and almost that many on Sunday.
The meet is at Granite Hills HS and because of the large numbers the warmup has been split into 3 sessions. We have the first warmup each day. Please arrive at 6:40 AM on Saturday and Sunday. IF you notice on the meet timeline (posted at the beginning of each heat on the heat sheet) that your swimmer does not swim before 10:30 AM, you may arrange with your coach to come in 90 minutes prior to your posted time of swim.
These timelines are only estimates
We also need parent volunteers as timers. job posting to go up in a few minutes on our website.
Make sure your swimmer and coach are on the same page as far as you expected arrival time.
No more COVID forms to fill out. Masks are optional. Parents are allowed in the bleacher section on the pool deck.
We need more officials on our team. in order to be able to bid on meets next fall, we need to have certified officials to even be granted a meet. Please help if you can. The team will cove the cost of your USA swimming registration. In order to get started, you need to start by "shadowing" officials at a meet (which means standing next to them on deck so they can explain what they are looking for as far as legal strokes and turns). if you're interested in becomming an official and shadowing during the meet this weekend, please let coach Dave know ([email protected]) - thank you.
All events are pre-seeded except the 500 free. So swimmers must actually check in if they intend to swim the 500.
