Swimmers of the Month from the Junior Provincial group...
Addison Bell was chosen for the month of September. She had a fantastic attendance, is usually the first person on deck and can be relied on start dryland activation without having to be told. Addi is a quiet leader and swims by example. She can always be counted on to swim the sets properly, which helps her lane and the rest of the group. Her effort level is always top notch. Congratulations Addi, keep up the awesome work!
For October, Jace Murakami stood out. He took on a role as leader and made a visible effort to lead his lane through many practices. He consistently worked hard and could be seen focusing on improving his technique when the group swam drill sets. He also did a great job as the only member of the group competing at the LASC Fall Challenge meet, with a bunch of older athletes. Congratulations Jace, keep up the awesome work!
Olympic Way Swimmers of the Month...
For September, Anelise Linder was chosen. She has a great work ethic, pays attention and listens very well. That focus sets a great example for the other swimmers. Plus, she has a postive attitude every time she attends practice. Great job Anelise!
Oliver Schwab has been consistently working hard for the past month. He comes prepared with a great attitude every practice. At the 11 & under Time Trials, he showed a big improvement and great speed because of these things Oliver is the Swimmer of the Month for October. Keep up the hard work Oliver!
