Update From Wisconsin and Irvine

 

Tonight the Clippers had another strong night of swimming. Jack Johnson, Olivia Hagen and Chase Vennefron all took to the water in a busy night of final swims at the Central Zone Championships in Wisconsin.

Johnson 13th 100 back

Olivia Hagen – 9th 200 medley relay

Chase Vennefron – 7th 200 medley relay
                                      3rd 200 Breaststroke
                                      14th 100 Back

 

 

Caitlyn Forman, Ellen Williamson, Mary Bank and Krissie Brandenburg competed in the final night of swimming at the National Championships in Irvine. Temperatures dropped into the mid 60’s by the time the relay hit the water. Overall the girls finished 26th out of 44 teams and 5th out of all 18&under teams. Clipper Alum, Cory Chitwood finished an impressive 8th place in one of the fastest heats in history of the 200 backstroke.
