This past week, CAT had three swimmers compete at the USA Swimming Nationals in Irvine, CA. Even though we only had a few swimmers in the meet, they all swam great.
Cameron Martin had an amazing meet. He went two for two on swimming lifetime best times and his 200Fly was fast enough to make it into the “C” Final where he finished 19th. Both of his swims (100Fly – 55.39, 200Fly – 2:01.89) were also fast enough to break the old Senior Records. Tremendous!
Wes Stearns was three for three on swimming season best times. On all of his swims (200/400/1500Fr) he was just off his lifetime best times too! Excellent!
Finally, Conor Swanson swam one
lifetime best time and two season best times. His lifetime
best came in the 400IM when he dropped seven seconds. In
addition to this, he swam season best times in the 100Bk and
Again, this is a great job for our swimming. The next time you see them around the pool deck make sure you congratulate them!
