Forman Qualifies Jr Pan Pac & Williamson slated for National Youth Team

 Caitlyn Forman qualified tonight for the Junior Pan Pacs in Maui, Hawaii(Aug 23rd thru 30th) in the 100 backstroke. Her time of 1:02.21 tied for 2nd overall and 1st overall out of eligible swimmers for the trip. “It was one of those races that you hit the wall and you couldn’t remember how you got there.” Forman explained. This was Caitlyn finished Top 8 in both of her events with her 8th place finish in her 200 back earlier this week.

Teammate, Ellen Williamson, joined Caitlyn on the award stand tonight in the 100 back with a 5th place finishing .3 behind Forman.  This was Ellen’s 4th final swim of the meet with finishes in the (200 fly 18th, 200 Back 6th, 100 fly 10th). Ellen’s times in the 100 & 200 back qualify her for the National Youth Team that will possibly travel at a later date this winter.

We have one more day of Competition with the following swims:

200 IM – Max Williamson, Ellen Williamson, Mary Bank
50 Free – Mary Bank* and Krissie Brandenburg*

*This will mark the final swims of two of the top Clippers in team history as 18&unders. Both girls will be heading off to college.  Thanks girls for the memories.
