Eleven swimmers from the Napa Valley Swim Team recently participated in Pacific Swimming’s 10-and-under championship swim meet, held in Sunnyvale.
There were over600 swimmers from throughout Pacific Swimming attending.
In the girls 6-under division, Sarah Reynolds placed second in the 50-yard backstroke, fifth in the 50 freestyle and sixth in the 25 freestyle.
In the girls 8-year-old division, Emily Dusky and Madyson Smith represented NVST.
In the boys 8-year-old division, Barrett McMichael achieved best times and finished second in the 25 freestyle and 25 breaststroke, fourth in the 25 backstroke and the 25 butterfly.
In the girls 9-year-old division, Karenna Meyer finished fifth in the 50 breaststroke where she swam to a best time of 42.35, sixth in the 100 breaststroke and sixth in the 100 IM.
In the boys 9-year-old division, William Fallini-Haas achieved best times and finished eighth in the 50 backstroke where he dropped over eight seconds for a best time of 1:25.85 Haas also swam and achieved best times in the 50 freestyle and the 100 yard IM.
Nicholas Cisco earned a best time in the 50 freestyle, swimming to a time of 33.24.
In the girls 10-year-old division, Quinn Jensen earned best times in the 50 freestyle and the 50 breaststroke.
Natalie Larson swam to a best time in the 100 yard freestyle, 1:18.16. Rebecca Reynolds achieved a best time in the 100 IM.
In the boys 10-year-old division, Quinn McMichael earned a new Junior Olympic time in the 100 IM, swimming to a time of 1:20.76 and achieved a best time in the 50 butterfly.
Also representing NVST in this division was Cayd Roberts.
