Cory Chitwood continued his perfect meet last night in the semi-finals of the 200 back going a 1:59.35. This time was strong enough to qualify him 8th for tonights big show down at finals. Only the top 2 get to go to the Olympics but being in the mix for that spot at 19 years old is a huge accomplishment. "I know I got more in me" explained chitwood after his race. "The nerves are unbelievable when you walk out in front of 13,000 people." Cory swam last night in front of the largest crowd in history for a swimming event.
Tune in tonight at 8:00pm on NBC to watch one of Northern Kentucky's finest swim.
